Today

I used to second guess my nature and at times I still do

but one thing I realized is how near sighted the world perceives things

as I open up, love, and embrace I may look overemotional too sensitive naive

& there is truth in it because I hurt and get burned

however, the fire purifies me...makes me STRONGer

does not kill me

so while love hurts as I learn to be it

nothing compares to the lives i see lost from living without

love is all we have

so i will fight with it for it as long as i am

Unfinished Autobiographical Poem

I've seen waters rushing

pacing and made me realize

how quickly i'll come and go

waters never stop vibrating

so I must never cease living

there is a hum beneath the surface

no sonar can detect it

& no i'm not different

i've just reflected

i've seen waters rushing

pressing IN to the springs where its warmest

away from the bitter cold of your winter

that threatened to stagnate

to place liberty in a freeze

denying us living water by refusing to let it leave...

God's glory is colorful and lively...you breath LIFE

Because He's given you his Spirit

and my Spirit

Couldn't be more excited

Just to share

Your autumn air
